Starting this weekend, Madrid residents will be able to take part in excursions in the Abantos zone of the Sierra de Guadarrama massif. This initiative of the authorities of the province of Madrid is based on the desire not only to develop people's interest in family recreation in nature, but also to expand the population’s knowledge of various types of mushrooms growing in this region.

The cultural program called Exposetas 2018 will be held from October 28 to December 2 in the forest museum "Arboreto Luis Ceballos", located near San Lorenzo del Escorial. The tour “Arboreto and its mushrooms” will tell not only about the mushrooms themselves, but also about their role in the ecology of the planet.
