If You Are Sick, In Canada You Will Be Sent To ... A Museum

NewsTuesday, 30 October, 2018

In addition to traditional treatment for stress and depression, doctors in the Canadian city of Montreal will prescribe museum visits to their patients. This writes BBC News.

The action with the participation of the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts and local clinics will start on November 1. Within a month, each doctor will be able to send up to 50 patients to exhibitions. An unusual recipe will allow everyone accompanied by a family or guardians to visit the museum exposition absolutely free.

Cultural experience will benefit health and well-being, just as sport contributes to well-being. A visit to the museum will help people to relax, be with family and close people, change the atmosphere and just relax.
