Budapest – The City Of Bathing
If your route passes through this city, be sure to allocate three hours for recreational water procedures. The therapeutic bathhouse Gellert in Budapest - one of 13 city baths - is by right considered the most beautiful. Built in the early 20th century, the Art Nouveau building looks more like a palace than a bath, which we are accustomed to seeing in pretty dull interiors. The four-story building of the hotel of the same name with a dome and stucco on the facade has attracted visitors for almost a hundred years, and its interior is amazing with its splendor.
Stained glass windows with images of heroes from the epic poem, marble columns, bronze statues, leather sofas, fountains with drinking mineral water - all this pleases the eye and creates an atmosphere of luxury. And most importantly - you can afford it!
