The location of the villa is peaceful and private, yet with the benefits of having everything on your door step. You can take the local pathways down to the headland where you have the 'Cristo Rei' - Statue of Christ, and below it the pebble beach of Garajau, which is accessed by cable car and offers sea bathing, changing rooms and a lovely sea front bar and restaurant. Just a few minutes' walk is the bus stop with a regular service to the capital Funchal, only 10 minutes away.
